The above flat rates include all regular disbursements, including: administration fees, document fees, courier charges (within Calgary), photocopy charges, fax charges, and Land Titles’ fees to register a transfer of land and a mortgage on one title. The above flat rates also include up to two hours of purchase/sale related issue resolution and up to two separate loan payouts.
The following are examples of items not included in the above flat rates: title insurance, additional mortgages, estoppel certificates, encroachments agreements, relaxation permits, encumbrance downloading and reviews, additional titles (e.g. parking / storage legal units for condos), insurance certificates and Real Property Reports. GST is also not included in the above flat rates.
Please note that out of town signings may be subject to an additional fee for signing with an out of town agent as well as for delivery charges to return signed documents to Kahane Law Office. Additional charges may also apply for corporate purchases/sales or for assignment of rents for rental property.
